Katja graduated from Medical School in Hamburg, Germany and worked as a Radiation Oncologist for 8 years. During that time she was introduced to Chinese Medicine.Fascinated by the ancient and effective way of treating diseases Western Medicine has little to offer; she earned an Acupuncture Diploma in Germany.

After moving to the United States, she pursued studies in Chinese Medicine at the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College (AIMC) in Berkeley, California, where she earned her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine, graduating summa cum laude.
She strongly believes in the value of both Eastern and Western medicine and recognizes the importance of integrating the two. Having been trained in both systems, she is uniquely positioned to bridge Eastern and Western approaches by working collaboratively with physicians in an integrative, patient-centered model of care.
