Katja graduated from Medical School in Hamburg, Germany and worked as a Radiation Oncologist for 8 years. During that time she was introduced to Chinese Medicine.Fascinated by the ancient and effective way of treating diseases Western Medicine has little to offer; she earned an Acupuncture Diploma in Germany.

After moving to the US she pursued the studies of Chinese Medicine at the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College (AIMC) in Berkeley,CA and received her Master’s Degree of Science and Oriental Medicine summa cum laude.
In her opinion there is a need for both Eastern and Western Medicine. Since she is in anunique position of having been trained in both, she feels very strongly of bridging these two by cooperating with physicians in an integrative way.
